Alphonsa Cashew Industries has bagged ISO 14001:2015 certification on August this year reflecting our commitment to conducting our business operations with high regard for the environment. Alphonsa Cashew is the first company in the cashew industry to be certified with ISO 14001:2015.
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organisation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability and can be used in whole to systematically improve environmental management.
We believe that addressing and mitigating environmental impacts arising out of our business activities is an important part of doing business. This is enabled by our commitment and continuous effort to address important environmental issues. As a manufacturing business, our operations can have a significant impact on the environment if appropriate steps to prevent and contain such adverse effects are not taken by us. All of our processing facilities comply with the highest international standards and are bound by all the rules, regulation and acts of Central and State Governments.
