Alphonsa Cashew Industries has become a signatory to the United Nations’ Global Compact initiative – a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with thousands of business participants and other stakeholders from civil society, labour and government based in over 160 countries. Having a presence at every stage of the cashew value chain helps us to ensure sustainability, responsibility and traceability throughout the value chain. In joining the UN Global Compact, Alphonsa Cashew Industries commits to supporting and reporting its progress toward the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on Human Rights, Labor, Environment and Anti-Corruption, as well as their 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
